Since its creation in 1818 by the spouses Elisabeth Salmon and Nicolas-François Billecart, the Billecart-Salmon Champagne House has remained independent, preserving for 7 generations the entirety of its know-how and the demand for the quality of its cuvées. . This bottle pays tribute to Louis, Elisabeth Salmon's brother, a passionate oenologist very involved in the development of wines, from the creation of the property.
This vintage champagne 2012 is made from illustrious Grand Cru terroirs of the Côte des Blancs, such as Mesnil-sur-Oger, Cramant, Chouilly and Oiry.Vinification of 25% of the wines in barrels. The maturation on lees in the underground cellars of the House is for a period of 115 months. The dosage of this Blanc de Blancs champagne is 3.9 g/l.
