If you've been following the news, you've probably heard about the unusually cold temperatures that swept across Virginia this spring. Like vineyards throughout the region, we felt their impact here at Briedé Family Vineyards. One of the questions we've been asked most often is, "Aren't your grapes cold hardy? Just as the previous year (2024) in 2025 Briede Family Vineyards brought home many medals from the Atlantic Seaboard Wine Competition. This competition highlights the best of the best from 17 states of the Eastern United States. 2025 was the 20th annual competition and Briede Vineyards brought home a total of 10 medals!
