Arandell is a new grape. We were the first ones to have this varietal at 100% In 2017. It is reminiscent of a Spanish wine in that is has such a soft structure. This medium bodied wine is unique. It name was derived from the Spanish word blueberry “Arandano” and the “ell” from Cornell who developed this grape 2013. It has such dark small fruit allowing lots of skin contact creating the dark color. You can find Blueberry, dark cherry, some tobacco and hints of black pepper and perhaps some cedar. If your looking for a new wine to try, this is it.
