How much does it cost to join the wine club?
There is no cost to join our wine club. The only financial commitment is the purchase of the
wine club quarterly releases. Quarterly wine releases average $65 for two bottles of wine (tax
not included).

What do I do if I want to join the wine club?
Simply join on our website here or signup directly in our tasting room with a member of the Briede Family Vineyards team.

When will the quarterly wine releases be available? How will I be notified?
Wine club quarterly releases will be available for pickup in the tasting room mid February, May,
August, and November. Your credit card on file will be billed about a week before pickup. An
email notification will be sent to your email on file about two weeks before your quarterly
release is available for pickup.

Since the tasting room is closed from January-April, how will I get my wine club quarterly
release during the winter months when the tasting room is closed?

After you sign up for the wine club online, a member of the Briede Family Vineyards team will
be in contact with you to schedule your pickup of the current wine club quarterly releases.
Once we are back open for normal hours after April  you can simply pickup your wine club
quarterly release at the tasting room during normal business hours.

For example, if you join the wine club on January 15th, an invoice will be generated and your
credit card on file will be charged for the current wine club quarterly release. After the
transaction has been completed, you will be contacted directly at the telephone number on file
to schedule a time convenient for you to pickup your wine at the tasting room. Your card will
not be billed again until approximately Friday, February 7th in anticipation of the February wine
club quarterly release.

How long will I have to pickup my quarterly releases in the tasting room?
You will have two weeks to pickup your wine in the tasting room. If you are unable to pickup
your wine in that time, email us at or give us a call and we will
work out a time that meets your schedule.

Where do I manage my wine club membership?
You can manage your membership directly via your online account (select Your Account on the
top right of our homepage) or you can email with any questions.
Changes to your wine club membership after your quarterly release has been processed may be
subject to additional charges.

What type of member only events do you have?
We look forward to two complementary member only events. One will be educational
based, focused on wine growing and/or wine making from a prominent member of the Virginia
wine community. The other event will be a wine tasting in the vineyard amongst the vines
paired with light appetizers.

What type of wine can I expect in each quarterly release?
Each quarterly wine release will generally have one red wine and one white wine. The white
wine selection may either be a still wine, a sparkling wine, or a Champagne. Wines will primarily
be dry, but may also be off-dry on occasion.

What options do I have for picking up my quarterly wine release?
Quarterly wine releases are only available for direct pickup at the tasting room at this time. We can ship your wine as well if you like.   It must be an approved state that allows shipping.  

Why is the wine club not a set flat fee for each release?
We think amazing wine isn’t defined or categorized to a single variety or style. Since our
Founding Member Wine Club is open to all categories of wine, we are excited to have another
forum to connect our wine club members with great wine to continue their wine journey. The
Founding Member Wine Club is an extension of our tasting room, exhibiting the same quality
and uniqueness you have come to know and love.

How long will my membership last?
You will keep receiving quarterly wine releases and member benefits as long as you keep an
active membership (its critical you keep your member profile updated online). After your first
two quarterly wine releases, you can cancel your membership at any time. Memberships must
be canceled by the 1st of the month of a quarterly wine release in order to not be charged for
that quarterly release. Should you choose to cancel your membership, email your request to Wine club memberships that go inactive with out of date
profiles for six months will be automatically canceled.
